Round up your purchase to benefit the Eastern Sierra Youth Outdoor program!
Our new point of sale system allows you to easily make a donation when you check out. You will be asked something like “would you like to round up your receipt to the nearest dollar, to donate to our Eastern Sierra Youth Outdoor program?” You can also donate additional amounts if you want. Eastside Sports donates over $2,000 a year to this program, and we will match round up donations dollar for dollar.
The Eastern Sierra Youth Outdoor (ESYO) program is a free-to-them outdoor program for youth of the Eastern Sierra, started by Eastside Sports in 2015. The program is six days long and open to Eastern Sierra youth between the ages of 13 and 18. Participants learn outdoor, team, and leadership skills while participating in rock climbing, camping, and a four day backpacking trip. Nearly 150 youth have been through the program since it began. ESYO is led by professional guides and outdoor instructors. Through grants and other donations we provide all necessary equipment to participants. ESYO is in partnership with the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association.
